WHAT IS DORO? IS THE DORO SONG DEMONIC? ….

Listen to the song very attentively & confirm it urself. So many people are been blinded by the tones & sounds of music nobody is even borderd to know the meaning & the words, everybody is busy singing & attaching doro to even their names, but the big question is..WHAT IS DORO?
Have you taken time to listen to this doro song? I have & i'll tel you the meaning by what the singer sang in the song.
It's a gathering of all the doro worshipers, she is a god, each of them praising & explaining how BIG, HIGH & BLOODY she is. Now lets follow the song lyrics.
The 1st singer started by praising doro~boss,
doro~h igh, doro~bloody, doro gather pass everybody for the gathering, doro get money pass everybody here(meaning dat doro is richer than all of them singing). Now,for people who say doro is money, from this last words,do u think they are referring to money? Am only picking points from all the singers.
So lets go to the 2nd singer. Another praise to their she lord..doro~hot,doro~fresh, doro~flashy, doro fine pass everybody wey doro sing(meaning dat doro is more pretty dan all the singers).Think!!!
The 3rd singer started with praise again, doro na diva(diva means a queen, female celebrity, god) doro d leader(meanin doro is a leada ,as in their leada).Doro is bigger, doro is higher,so folow d leada, doro get liver she no dey tire(meaning dat they are refering to she,not money not fine).
Now,the 4th singer said doro bad, make nobody try doro, doro get money but lastly she said make nobody join dorobucci ooo.
The 5th singer further explained the personality of their god..doro is a kind of boss,a cheerfulgiver, doro get pass everybody wey don get before, doro fly pass everybody wey dey this plane, now from all these.
WHAT IS DORO? They have made their point in the song, every other words they added was to confuse the listener, they now use it as a slang to everything they say becos they hav sold their soul & they belong to it.
So dat's why u hear doro don Jazzy becos all are members just the way Christians cal themselves Children of God.
We are at the end time! Kindly share this post & save someone.
Any christian that sings to this goddess is doomed

SECRET DOCUMENTS: Shocking Revelations About Buhari

A Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President, Reuben Abati, published an abstract from secret documents in his Twitter, exposing the information from Wikileaks about Buhari’s 1983-84 governing years.
The information is provided by the Public Library of United States Diplomacy through Wikileaks. The exposed classified letter is dated September 20, 2002. It reads in part:
Like President Obasanjo before the 1999 election, General Buhari’s political experience is limited to that of military Head of State. Buhari came to power as a result of a 1983 New Year’s Eve coup against the democratically elected Shehu Shagari. The eviction of Shagari came as a welcome relief as did Buhari’s promise to root out corruption. That relief, however, was short-lived as Nigerians watched despairingly as the Buhari regime’s promises to revive the economy and wipe out rampant corruption withered during 20 months of heavy-handed, largely ineffective rule.
In May 1984, Buhari ordered the brutal expulsion of 700,000 illegal immigrants from neighboring African states, jailed hundreds of political opponents and muzzled a once aggressive press. His loyalty to the military also came into question as he dismissed 30,000 soldiers as a cost-cutting measure. Buhari also soured Nigeria’s relations with Britain, when he was accused of masterminding a clumsy and unsuccessful attempt in July 1984 to kidnap President Shagari’s brother-in-law, former Transport Minister Umaru Dikko. Moreover, Buhari undermined traditional rulers throughout Nigeria, slashing their benefits and questioning their authority.

Mourinho 'agrees deal in principle' to let Chelsea defender leave Give Me Sport 13:33 18-Dec-14

Reports in Turkey claim Besiktas have agreed a deal in principle to sign Chelseadefender Kurt Zouma on loan from January.
Amkspor reportthat the outline for a deal to bring Zouma to Turkey has been agreed between the Turkish giants and Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Besiktas will reportedly pay a fee to take the Frenchman on loan, with Chelsea keen to get him exposure to first-team football. Chelsea and Besiktas are on good relations following the transfer of Demba Ba earlier this year.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insisted earlier this week that he's looking to keep his 'very good but thin' Chelsea squad together over the winter window, with few expected in or out.
But while the Blues manager may not be keen to sell in January, he could be open to letting fringe players leave on loan.

UPDATE: BH Reportedly Kidnap 185 Women And Children In Borno –

According to local officials and a witness militant Boko Haram group killed 32 people and abducted scores of others in an attack on the village of Gumsuri in Borno State. Two Borno state officials who confirmed the attack said the locals were still counting those kidnapped in the attack Sunday, December 14, in the distant area but that the number could pass 100 and comprised women and children. Breaking news emerges by CNN that 185 women and children were kidnapped by Boko Haram men during a raid on Gumsuri village 20km from Chibok in Borno state on Sunday December 14th. Men were shot, homes were burnt and women taken away. This is the largest rounding up of women and children since the abduction of Chibok girls in April 2014. Gunmen shoot down men before herding women and children together. “They gathered the women and children and took them away in trucks after burning most of the village with petrol bombs,”a local government official said on condition anonymity for fear of reprisal. At least 33 killed in village near Damboa in north-east Nigeria. Dozens of young men, women and children abducted. Happened Sunday — will ross (@willintune) December 18, 2014 Local resident, Mukhtar Buba, who fled Gumsuri to the Borno state capital Maiduguri said: “After killing our youths, the insurgents have taken away our wives and daughters.” READ ALSO: Lagos Pastor Makes 2015 Prophecy Information took four days to appear because the mobile phone network has largely crashed in the area approximately 70 kilometres (43 miles) south of Maiduguri, and many of the roads are blocked. The village, raided by insurgents, is situated on the road that leads to Chibok, where Boko Haram abducted more than 200 girls from a school in April 14, 2014. One of the local officials said Gumsuri had earlier been protected against Boko Haram violence by a strong vigilante force, but that they were overcame in Sunday’s attack. “For the past one year, the insurgents have made several attempts to attack Gumsuri but were resisted by the gallant youths of the village,” he told AFP. “It is sad that on Sunday, the village was subdued,” he continued. The other official said the terrorists “stormed the village in a convoy of vehicles (armed) with petrol bombsand heavy weapons”. Buba, the villager, said more than half the village had been destroyed. UPDATE: Borno officials learned of the raid from villagers who fled to Maiduguri, the capital of state, where the officials had moved a year ago to escape Boko Haram violence. The terrorists stormed the village from two directions, overpowering local vigilantes who had repelled Boko Haram raids over the course of the year, said Gumsuri resident Umar Ari, who hiked for four days to Maiduguri. “They destroyed almost half the village and took away 185 women, girls and boys,” Ari said.‎ Borno is the focal point of Boko Haram’s five-year uprisingaimed at producing a severe Islamic state in northern Nigeria. Attacks alike to Sunday’s raid in Gumsuri have intensified over the last 18 months, with the insurgents taking control of more than two dozen towns and villages in the region. No fewer than 1.5 million people have left their homes and fears are rising that persistent unrestwill prevent voters in the region from participating in general elections scheduled for February 14.

Elections 2015: Why Jonathan May Not Contest In 2015

President Goodluck Jonathan may not contest for the 2015 presidential election if the Supreme Court finds him ineligible to do so.
The Court, yesterday, fixed December 16 to commence hearing on the suit filed before it by a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from Adamawa State, Dr. Umar Ardo, through his lawyer, Dr. A. Amuda Kannike, seeking to stop President Goodluck Jonathan from vying for re-election next year.
The President’s lawyer Mr. Ade Okeaya-Inneh, SAN, told the court that he has already supplied before it, several legal authorities backing his re-election bid. He argued that Ardo has no strong case against Jonathan, as the 1999 constitution permits him to go for a second tenure in office.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), through its lawyer Mr. C. I. Paul, yesterday, applied for a short time to file its response to the suit, while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), told the apex court that it would remain neutral and abide by whatever decision the court will take on the contentious issue.
Justice Tanko Mohammed, while adjourning the case, gave all the parties seven days to file and exchange their written arguments.
Ardo, who wants the court to stop President Jonathan from contesting in 2015, is further challenging the refusal of the Abuja Division of the Appeal Court to join him as a party in the suit filed against Jonathan by another member of the PDP, Mr. Cyriacus Njoku.
He had insisted before the court that he had enough evidence to prove that President Jonathan lacks the legal backing to remain in office beyond 2015.

Nigerian Medical Association Suggests Psychiatric Tests For All Politicians Before Elections

The Nigerian Medical Association in a communique issued at the end of the National Executive Council meeting in Jos yesterday December 7th, advised that all politicians seeking for public offices in the 2015 general elections should undergo psychiatric test to determine the state of their mental health.
The communique was read by Dr Kayode Obembe, who said it had become necessary for politicians to undergo psychiatric test because of the way some politicians in the nation behave. He also said all psychiatric doctors had been advised to register with the Independent National Electoral Commission that will supervise such tests & all medical doctors to participate in the political process at all levels.

– 5 Powerful Reasons Why Nigerians Should Elect Buhari –

The former Head of the State General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) is one of the key presidential aspirants on the platform of the main opposition party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), in the forthcoming elections.
Naij.com offers you have a look at 5 important reasons why General Buharimight be a better candidate than his opponents.
The presidential aspirant Muhammadu Buhari
1. Man of integrity
General Buhari is the man of integrity. As a former Petroleum Minister, Buhari does not own an oil rig or even a petrol station in his name. Since retiring from active service in the government, the General has lived on his pension. When he served as the PTF chairman, he refused to draw a salary from the commission, explaining that his conscience would not allow him take money from a government already paying his pension. He owns two houses: one at Kaduna; the other at Daura, his hometown in Katsina State.
2. He is not corrupt
Nigeria is reeling in corruption. Buhari won a rare reputation as a fighter against corruption during his time in charge of Nigeria from 1983-85. Most Nigerians agree he did not use the presidency to enrich himself and his backers. His iron-fisted administration jailed several politicians on graft charges. Gen. Buhari’s campaign team have made it clear that they would not be pre-occupied with pursuing past corrupt government officials to the detriment of the national development; rather, the CPC manifesto says the Buhari Administration will strengthen anti-corruption agencies (EFCC, ICPC and the Police), while it concentrates on fulfilling its campaign promises to the Nigerian populace. When the head is good, it is only a matter of time the body will get better.
3. Religion
Buhari’s ethnic background is Fulani, and his faith is Islam; he is a native of Daura in Katsina State of Nigeria. But he is not a religious fanatic. He also said he was not opposed to a Muslim-Muslim ticket in the 2015 elections.
Once he said: “I have not absolutely closed my mind to picking a Christian or Muslim as running mate if I get the ticket. I firmly believe that Nigerians, having gone through what they have gone through, realise it is not a matter of religion, but a matter of Nigeria.
“And the main religions, Christianity and Islam, they know and they believe in the Almighty God. The question of stealing and short-changing people in the name of religion should stop.”
4. Insurgency
Buhari is a retired Major General of the Nigerian Army who was the military ruler of Nigeria from December 31, 1983 to August 27, 1985. He knows a lot of strategies and may use them to end the Boko Haram violence and he vowed to do it.The former Head of the State has promised to end insurgency and other forms of anxiety in the country, if elected President in the 2015 general elections.
He also called on religious leaders to join hands together and find a lasting solution that would curtail the persistent killing of innocent souls in some parts of the North.
5. Family man
General Buhari’s first wife was the late Hajiya Safinatu Buhari. He courted her when she was fourteen and married her at the age of eighteen. A very shy and conservative Muslim woman, she was not too visible on the social radar.

They got married in 1971 and the marriage was blessed with four children, all girls (Zulaiha Magajiya (the first daughter, and she was named after Buhari’s mother) Fatima, Hadizatu Nana, and Safinatu Lami). As the First Lady of Nigeria, Hajiya Safinatu was not in the spotlight. Later in December 1989, he got married to Hajiya Aisha Halilu, a Fulani lady from Adamawa State. The marriage is blessed with children and a grandchild.
The man with so big and lovely family for sure can make Nigeria better, can’t he?

– Jonathan Finally Reacts To Impeachment Plot –

President Goodluck Jonathan has told the Nigerian senators plotting his impeachment to leave him alone and concentrate on other national issues that are important.
Goodluck Jonathan declares interest to run for re-election in 2015
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, a copy obtained by Sahara Reporters.
Jonathan stated that the senators should know that there were other more pressing issues that should attract their attention instead of threatening to remove him from office.
The statement, however, did not reveal if President Jonathan considers that he has, or has not, committed any impeachable offence.
“The Senate in the last four years has conducted its legislative functions and responded to issues that are of great national importance with commendable political sagacity. In this same period, the senate has functioned as a stabilizing force within the polity employing much political maturity that is required to guide and protect our nascent democracy,”the statement read.
However, the President pointed out that confrontation and strong disagreements are not uncommon phenomenon in executive and legislative relationship worldwide, adding that the recent purported attempt by some Senators to prepare impeachable offences against him as reported in some section of the Media is seen by him in this light.
The President in the statement expressed strong trust and believes in the leadership of the present Senate and the unwavering patriotism and commitment that have been shown by the distinguished members.
It further expressed believe that ultimately it is the tendency towards true Nationalism that will prevail in the Senate.

“It is our view that there are at present, serious fundamental issues of National importance such as winning the war against terrorism and stabilizing the economy in the face of dwindling oil revenue which requires the full attention, commitment and swift action of distinguished members of the Senate. We are of the opinion that all matters political can and will be resolved politically in the overall interest of our democracy and the wellbeing of our people,”the statement read

Why You Should Get Married As Soon As Possible –

There are some pleasurable advantages of getting married at a young age. The beliefs that early marriages equal to disaster are usually far from the truth.
Nigerianewsportal has gathered some reasons that can show you why marrying at an early age is a relatively good decision.
1. Perfect age is a myth
Marriage is about finding a perfect person for yourself. The age is less important. Of course it is good to be prepared for the marriage. But some people can be never prepared for it. Even when they are in their 40s.
So if you found your perfect person while you were young – there is no use to wait for long to get married. So, think about finding the right person rather than waiting for the right time to arrive.
2. You would spend more time together
Younger couples are usually not pressed by their relatives. They don’t need to become parents just after the marriage. They have more time to know each other, before starting family planning. You can see the world together.

3. Your relationships could be more harmonious
You would be learning to live as adults together. So you could be more flexible with each other. You will have more time to cope with your partner’s character and learn to understand each other better. You are likely to be more compatible than the couples who got married late.
4. More time for love
Since you don’t have the pressure of having babies just after the marriage, enjoy this time with each other. After having kids usually couples have less lovemaking activities. And you will get more of these moments, if you get married early.
5. You would share so many beautiful things together
Alongside with parenting, marriage makes you share a lot of other things together. When you were married early, you would have shared much more experience. Whether it is buying your first car, moving in to your own home, achieving success in career – you would be happier because you had a person to share these moments with.
6. You would be a great parent
When you have spent so much time together, you are likely to have a great connection between each other. The level of understanding is quite important in being great parents.
Also, when you attain parenthood in your twenties, you are all the more excited as well as energetic to spend time with your child.

7. A second chance
Young couples better know how to support each other in their tough times. So if things go wrong they have more chances to bring everything back.
Surely there is no magic recipe for a perfect marriage. But with the above reasons, we now see that marriage at young age early can be a great thing!

OPINION: 5 Reasons Why I Think Nelson Mandela Was Not A Christian –

Founder & Editor of Parable lifestyle Magazine ( www.parable.co.za) based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Solomon Izang Ashoms, wrote on www.news24.com, five reasons why he thinks the late Nelson Mandela was not a Christian.
Read the excerpts below:
Late Nelson Mandela with popular South African social rights activist and retired Anglican Archbishop, Desmoond Tutu
“One of the greatest leaders in human history Nelson Mandela passed away a year ago at the age of 95. He reconfigured racial unity and Jesus-like forgiveness, not just in South Africa but across the world. He became the most famous black man in history.
After his death and one year later, a lot of people, especially Christians started asking and still asking questions like, “Was he a Christian”?, ‘’Would he go to heaven or hell”? It’s indeed okay to ask such questions because in the end eternity awaits everyone as a reward for the life we lived.

Well, here are my 5 reasons why Nelson Mandela was not a Christian:
1. He knew forgiveness more than 90% of us Christians. The bible is clearly a book of forgiveness from Adam to Jesus, but it seems Christians have reduced or interpret forgiveness to suit their situations. But not for the man who spent 27 years in prison and forgave his jailers afterwards. Trust me, Christians are some of the most unforgiving community of people. We “talk the talk” but don’t “walk the walk”. Can you turn the other cheek as Christ advised? If Mandela was a Christian he never would’ve turned the other cheek to his adversaries.
2. He inspired love and respect.Mandela was the symbol of fatherly love, leadership, political and inter-racial unity and respect. Most of the church and its Christian citizens have lost the zeal to truly love and respect each other. We only love when we feel like it or when we want to, our love and respect have carnal conditions attached to it. If Mandela was a Christian he would be a poor one

Sports Minister, Tammy Danagogo had allegedly paid coach Stephen Keshi N14 million despite Super Eagles failing to make the 2015 African Cup Of Nations.

The money is said to be Keshi’s allowance for the last two months which he had been owed.
According to Africanfootball, the amount was transferred even though there is no contractual agreement between the award wining coach and the Nigerian Football Federation.
READ ALSO: Keshi’s Contract Latest
A source close to the minister told Africanfootball: “The minister has been paying Keshi directly from the NFF subvention without any input from the NFF. And one of the aides of the Minister also confirmed that the payment was equally extended to the other members of the technical crew like Amokachi, Shorunmi and others. ‘’It’s part of the agreement when the Minister brought Keshi to fill the gap. There was no NFF in place then’’.
“This cannot be good for the relationship between employer and employee.”
Keshi was the man in charge of the Eagles games during the qualifiers.

Meanwhile NFF president Amaju Pinnick has denied reports that a contract has been presented to Keshi so far , reports had suggested that a new contract worth seven million Naira has been presented to him.
“We have not come to an agreement yet (with Keshi),” he said.
Keshi had led the Eagles to the african Cup of Nations victory in 2013, making the most succesful coach for over aa decade.

Military Kill 300 Boko Haram Insurgents In Damaturu

According to various sources from 100 to 300 Boko Haram insurgents were killed in the recent attack on Damaturu, Yobe State.
It would be recalled that the state capital was hit by a ghastly attack on Monday, December 1. As a result, scores of civilians were murdered and a 24-hour curfew was imposed on the town.
However, the insurgents suffered great casualties as they might have lost more than 300 of their members, Sahara Reporters provides with reference to the BBC Hausa service.
The gunmen stormed Damaturu early in the morning waking the residents up with gunshots. They reportedly set ablaze schools and a police station and then headed for the government house in an attempt to seize the capital of Yobe.
READ ALSO: Boko Haram Uses New Tactics?
According to a hospital source, as the offensive was repelled, more than 100 corpses killed by the military were brought to the Specialist Hospital in Damaturu.
One of the locals, Bukar Yakubu, commended the performance of the army:
“They really tried even though it was not easy but they killed more than 100 and some of them were captured today.”
Daily Trust says however that 150 insurgents were killed adding that the surviving militants loaded bodies of their dead colleagues into cars and drove away with them. They also put the total death toll of the battle in the area at 220 people.
Another resident, Mohammed Ali, also praised the military lamenting however over the army’s defensive tactics.

“Why must they always wait for them to attack instead of taking the war to them? The Boko Haram insurgents have been having a field day for over two months in Buni Yadi which is less than 50 kilometers from Damaturu. I think it would be better to go and confront them there.”

Boko Haram lnsurgency Will Soon End – Pres. Goodluck Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday assured Nigerians that Book Haram insurgency in the country will soon end.
The president made this known in Lagos when he hosted some Igbo market and town union leaders under the auspices of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria led by billionaire businessmen Arthur Eze and Ifeanyi Ubah.
“I just want to tell Nigerians that this phase will surely pass,” said Jonathan, who lamented the Kano bomb attack where about 200 people were killed on Friday.
“This intimidation will not last. We will continue to improve on the technology needed to combat terrorism,”he added.
The president said further that other countries have faced terrorism and have overcome. This he said shows that Nigeria will also overcome its challenges.
He thanked the Igbo leaders who represented the 158 recognized markets in the state, as well as the town unions in Lagos, for vowing to deliver all Igbo votes in the state to the PDP in the 2015 presidential election.
Speaking earlier, Prince Arthur Eze urged Igbos to continue mobilizing votes for Jonathan because he has the fear of God and sincerity to work for the nation.

Van Vicker To Star In Hollywood Movie On Skin Bleaching Directed By Renowned American Actress

In the film "Skinned", directed by American actress Lisaraye Mccoy and set to premiere in 2015, Van Vicker takes on the role of a businessman who only has an interest in light-skinned women.
He marries a woman who deceives him to believe that she’s light skinned, but it turns out she’s been bleaching. She tries to hide her embarrassing secret by lying that she suffers from vitiligo, hiding her baby pictures, and even goes so far as to not wanting to give birth to ensure no one finds out.
The synopsis from the site reads as follows:
“Jolie is now married to Michael, an African business tycoon with a flair for light-skinned women. So in love with his wife, Michael never bothers to ask why she doesn’t have any pictures of herself when she was a child. When he questions her about the appearance of her skin at times, she lies and says that she has vitiligo. After 4 years of marriage, Jolie has not gotten pregnant. In an attempt to find out why, disturbing news turns their marriage in an uproar that ultimately could lead to death. My Relationship With Juliet Ibrahim Is Not A Secret To My Wife – Yemi Blaq

Yemi Blaq has settled the rumors going around of extra marital affairs on his part by revealing the truth.
In a new interview with Vanguard, he talked of his relationship with Ghanaian top actress, Juliet Ibrahim.
Yemi and Wife.
He also said that his lovely wife is aware of the friendship between them and is okay with it.
When questioned, if he would have married Juliet if he wasn’t married, the actor said yes.
Excerpts:
You have a very closerelationship withJuliet Ibrahim, how does your wife react to that?
She’s okay with it.My wifeisa professionalthrough and through. When we were shooting ‘The Distance Between’, my wife wrote the script. She wrote my character to have a romantic relationship with both Rita Dominic and Mercy Johnson. She was on set while we were shooting and after doing a kissing scene with Mercy Johnson, my wife called me aside and said “That kiss is not real. You need to make it real”.
She knows that as long as I’m on set, it’s my job and I’m doing the kissing not because I’m enjoying a kiss from a woman, but because it’s the character doing the kissing, not me. If I kiss a girl outside the set, I’ll have a lot of questions to answer. She knows about me and Juliet.
Was it movies that brought Juliet Ibrahim and you together?
Yes. The funny thing is I’ve heard about her, seen her and the first time we really had time to relate was when we shot the movie ‘ Corporate Operations’ with Alex Mouth in Abuja, but there was no time to bond. Shortly after that, she called me while she was in Ghana and there was this movie we were shooting ‘Number One Fan’, starring myself and her.

Synagogue: Court dismisses suit to stop inquest

By Innocent Anaba A Federal High Court in Lagos, yesterday, dismissed the suit seeking to stop the ongoing inquest into the collapsed Synagogue building. TB Joshua-Synagogue Church Trial judge, Justice Ibrahim Buba, described the suit as lacking merit, and accordingly, dismissed same. It will be recalled that on September 12, a six-story building within the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations collapsed in Lagos, killing over 100 people most of whom were foreigners, with several others injured. The Lagos State government had on September 26, constituted a coroner’s court to unravel the circumstances leading to the incidence, while Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe was appointed coroner. A Lagos lawyer, Mr. Olukoya Ogungbeje, however, went to court, seeking an order restraining further inquest, pending the determination of the suit. Respondents in the suit were the Lagos State government, the Attorney-General of the state, Mr. Ade Ipaye, and Magistrate Komolafe.

Sexual harassment made me abandon acting for a while — Sotayo Sobola

At first glance, Sotayo Sobola looks like one of those girls who have eight packs of cigarettes in their purse, ready to smoke and party from dusk till dawn, getting into all sorts of trouble. On getting closer to her, you realise that she’s just the regular girl next door. Sotayo is beautiful, eloquent and ready to take Nollywood by storm, starring in both Yoruba and English movies. Her movie Corper Jide is getting a lot of positive response and she is set to release her latest movie titled Bella very soon. In this exclusive interview with Potpourri she talks about her life, career and more. How many movies have you done so far? I can’t trace them because when I started initially, it was just minor roles I was doing. If you’re talking about self produced movies, I would say, three. My first movie production wasArewa Onijogbon, produced in 2010 or thereabout, then I didCorper Jideand now I haveBellathat is yet to be released How was growing up like for you? I grew up in a polygamous family. I stayed with my mom all through and it wasn’t easy because I was never allowed to mingle and go out. I don’t know how I’ll put it but it was just challenging Were your parents strict when you were growing up? Yeah, my mom was extremely strict; they call her ‘Thatcher’. She is a kind of mom who wouldn’t allow you to mix with others. After school, she would tell you to stay put in your room and even restrict you from visiting family members. Back then I saw her as just being wicked but honestly now, I think I really appreciate the fact that she did all those things. Now I’m beginning to see the good part and the result so far and I thank God my mom was like that. Maybe if she hadn’t been strict with me I wouldn’t have turned out as good as this today. Did you ever protest or fight with her? I didn’t do any kind of fighting with her but at one point I started sneaking out of the house to go for shows and all that. Then one day somebody brought pictures I took at an event to my house and gave them to me in my mom’s presence. The pictures had dates on them and when my mom saw them she was surprised and asked how I was able to be at the events on such days. Even when she started seeing me on TV she wasn’t impressed, to her, she thought I was just going wild. But in my mind I knew what I wanted to do. She would abuse me, fight me, talk and talk, but I kept on with what I was doing. Thank God all is history now. She now supports me. Have you worked with any big actors? I’ve done movies with so many people. In the movieMolewa,I acted alongside Odunlade Adekola, we both played the lead. I’ve also acted with Femi Adebayo, Yemi Blaq, he was a star actor in my movie, the yet to be releasedBella. We both also played the lead inEwu Loko Longe. I’ve acted with loads of them Between English and Yoruba movies, which one do you enjoy more? The English movie, that’s where I started from, I got so good I’ve started doing the both of them all over again. I like the English movie because that’s just me; I get to speak the normal way I know how to speak. I’m very comfortable and I’m myself but when it comes to Yoruba movie, I have to try to blend into it, though I’m Yoruba but there are some things I can’t bring out well in Yoruba. I feel more comfortable speaking in English than in Yoruba. Hey, I speak Yoruba very well, for crying out loud I am Yoruba. But when it comes to the dialectical part of it then it becomes an effort to speak the language.

5 things a man want from a woman but won't tell her!(18)

Respect Through much reading and research, I have learned that men desperately want respect from the woman in their life. If you are in doubt of this, ask your guy and see what his response is. This is one of the most important things men want from you but will never tell you. So, what does it really mean to give a guy respect? Simply put, it means that you give their thoughts, ideas, actions and feelings merit. It means that you think that he is important and you show it with your actions. Admiration Going hand in hand with respect is admiration. Guys typically love admiration, but there is a catch to this. It has to be sincere for it to work. Guys seem to have radar to catch any insincere compliment you give them. But as long as you are telling him something you genuinely appreciate about him, he will be very pleased to hear it. A Pleasant Tone of Voice Men appreciate a pleasant tone of voice with the woman they are in a relationship with, and really, don’t we all? All of us appreciate a nice, friendly tone of voice. Of course, you won’t have a pleasant tone of voice all the time unless you are a Step ford Wife, but it is something you can try to work on. In fact, it is something that we can work on with everyone in our life. People respond much better to one another when they are speaking and hearing a kind tone of voice. Encouragement Men like and need encouragement. They like to know that the woman they love is in their corner, cheering them on. Your belief in them is important. They think that if you believe in them then surely they can accomplish whatever obstacles they are up against in their life. In return, you will find they are always in your corner. Appreciation Men like to be appreciated and it doesn’t take a lot to express this. A simple ‘thank you’ accompanied by a sweet smile can go far in showing you appreciate whatever it is they are doing for you. Maybe your guy took you out for a nice dinner or took care of some maintenance on your car. Whatever it is he is doing for you, appreciating the act will endear you to him. You will probably find that he wants to do more for you when you appreciate his efforts.

Boko Haram: Enough Is Enough; Pastor Oritsejafor Warns

Angered by the continuous killing of Christians in the North-eastern part of the country and the dare-devil attacks by Boko Haram, President of Christians Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has exploded, warning the heartless terrorists that enough is enough. Oritsejafor, who spoke extensively on Wednesday in Abuja during the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of CAN, said “territories that have fallen under the control of Boko Haram are predominantly populated by Christians, a sign that Christians are no longer safe in those parts of the country. The CAN President re-echoed his earlier stance that Boko Haram is waging a religious war against Christians, saying that the carnage in the North-east is unacceptable. Oritsejafor said, “What is happening there is unacceptable to us. Christians are the main victims. We are not saying that other people are not affected. But Christians are the ones affected more. All the places where Boko Haram has foisted their flags are dominated by Christians. “They have taken over Mubi in Adamawa state which is dominated by Christians. Somebody will now tell me this is not religion. Who is fooling who? Nigerians should accept that we have a problem.” Calling on Nigerians to pray to God to put an end to the mindless killings, Oritsejafor said he will not join other Nigerians who have created names for themselves, by constantly criticising the military, however called on the leadership of the military to fish out saboteurs in their midst, if the war against terrorism must be won.

EBOLA: Liberia's President Writes Heartbreaking Letter To The World

Liberia’s President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has taken the bull by its horns over the Ebola crisis rocking the country. President Sirleaf President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf wrote a heartbreaking letter to the world over the Ebola epidemic in her country. A letter which was broadcasted on the radio and transmitted worldwide, where she made it known sadly how, just like the Civil war the country faced that took away many of the citizens of the country, the Ebola Virus Disease has done much more. Ebola patient being carried away while his relative cries PHOTO CREDIT: Getty Images She talked extensively on how for the 11 years the civil war lasted, lots of Liberians died, the economy and vital institutions of the country got crumbled amongst others. Urging the international community to act fast instead of all the unending theoretical explanations, the president made it known how her country, alongside Sierra Leone and Guinea badly need great help. READ ALSO: EBOLA: Heartbreaking Photos From Liberia Below is the heartbreaking letter: Dear World, In just over six months, Ebola has managed to bring my country to a standstill. We have lost over 2,000 Liberians. Some are children struck down in the prime of their youth. Some were fathers, mothers, brothers or best friends. Many were brave health workers that risked their lives to save others, or simply offer victims comfort in their final moments. There is no coincidence Ebola has taken hold in three fragile states – Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea – all battling to overcome the effects of interconnected wars. In Liberia, our civil war ended only eleven years ago. It destroyed our public infrastructure, crushed our economy and led to an exodus of educated professionals. A country that had some 3,000 qualified doctors at the start of the war was dependent by its end on barely three dozen. In the last few years, Liberia was bouncing back. We realized there was a long way to go, but the future was looking bright. Now Ebola threatens to erase that hard work. Our economy was set to be larger and stronger this year, offering more jobs to Liberians and raising living standards. Ebola is not just a health crisis – across West Africa, a generation of young people risk being lost to an economic catastrophe as harvests are missed, markets are shut and borders are closed. The virus has been able to spread so rapidly because of the insufficient strength of the emergency, medical and military services that remain under-resourced and without the preparedness to confront such a challenge. This would have been the case whether the confrontation was with Ebola, another infectious disease, or a natural disaster. But one thing is clear. This is a fight in which the whole world has a stake. This disease respects no borders. The damage it is causing in West Africa, whether in public health, the economy or within communities – is already reverberating throughout the region and across the world. The international reaction to this crisis was initially inconsistent and lacking in clear direction or urgency. Now finally, the world has woken up. The community of nations has realized they cannot simply pull up the drawbridge and wish this situation away. This fight requires a commitment from every nation that has the capacity to help – whether that is with emergency funds, medical supplies or clinical expertise. I have every faith in our resilience as Liberians, and our capacity as global citizens, to face down this disease, beat it and rebuild. History has shown that when a people are at their darkest hour, humanity has an enviable ability to act with bravery, compassion and selflessness for the benefit of those most in need. From governments to international organisations, financial institutions to NGOs, politicians to ordinary people on the street in any corner of the world, we all have a stake in the battle against Ebola. It is the duty of all of us, as global citizens, to send a message that we will not leave millions of West Africans to fend for themselves against an enemy that they do not know, and against whom they have little defence. The time for talking or theorizing is over. Only concerted action will save my country, and our neighbours, from experiencing another national tragedy. The words of Henrik Ibsen have never been truer: “A thousand words leave not the same deep impression as does a single deed. Yours sincerely, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Meanwhile, in a determined fight to manage the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) which has killed no fewer than 4,400 people, the United Nations atomic agency has made its plans to provide West African countries hit by the disease with a nuclear-related technologyto help faster diagnosis known.

Ebola: An African Nation Free –

United Nations agency for health, the World Health Organisation, WHO, has announced that Senegal is free of the Ebola outbreak ravaging West Africa. According to a statement the WHO released on Friday, 17 October, 2014, it commends the country for its diligence in putting a stop to the transmission of the virus. The UN agency stated that the index case in Senegal was confirmed 29 August in a young man who had travelled to Dakar, by road, from Guinea, where he had had direct contact with an Ebola patient. The statement called Senegal’s response “a good example of what to do when faced with an imported case of Ebola.” READ ALSO: Man ‘Died’ From Ebola, Awakes After Almost Being Buried It said Senegal government’s response included identifying and monitoring 74 close contacts of the patient, prompt testing of all suspected cases, stepped-up surveillance at many entry points and public awareness campaigns. However, the WHO informed that the west African country still remains vulnerable to further cases of the deadly disease being imported from neigbouring countries and beyond. “While the outbreak is now officially over, Senegal’s geographical position makes the country vulnerable to additional imported cases of Ebola virus disease. Injury Hits Super Eagles Camp

Barely 24 hours before the crucial 2015 African Nations Cup, AFCON, qualifier against Sudan on Wednesday, 15 October, 2014, reports emanating from Nigeria’s Super Eagles camp in Abuja inform that CSKA Moscow winger Ahmed Musa is battling to be fit for the match. According to Supersport report, Musa, who was substituted in the 1-0 loss to Sudanin Khartoum last weekend could not train with the rest of the Eagles’ team Monday’s evening. It was gathered that the former Kano Pillars player is carrying a knock suffered from the Sudan game and is now in danger of missing the encounter against the Falcons of Jediane. Also, Volyn of Ukraine midfielder Michael Babatunde was not involved in training with the team as he still hasn’t recovered from his injury which made him miss the game in Khartoum. The Super Eagles are bottom of Group A of the qualifiers after picking up just a single point from three matches. The Stephen Keshi-led side must win the tie against Sudan to keep alive the now thread-bare hopes of reaching AFCON 2015 and defending the title won in South Africa in February last year. In a related development, Keshi told supersport.com in an interview that he has never enjoyed the support of Nigerians from the first day he took the reins of the national team in 2011. Keshi said:“only a handful of Nigerians” did not question his professional competence after he was appointed head coach and that the team’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) success in South Africa came to many as a shock. “If I am to be honest, most Nigerians never believed in me or this team from day one. It was only a handful of them (Nigerians) that believed.

Why Nigerian Women Should Be Proposing To Their Men

Of course, Nigeria is a land of traditions and customs. It is unusual for a woman to ask a man for his hand in marriage. But times are changing now, so here are 4 reasons for a modern Nigerian girl to start proposing to her man. 1. Women do everything better As often said, everything a man can do a woman can do better. Instead of waiting for a prince to come for you, why not to take matters into your own hands? We live in the world where most conventions are broken. 2. Men are big babies All men are like babies. They want to be fed, given special attention and taken care of. So the best care you can give to him is to give him a ring. He probably deserves it as much as you do. READ ALSO: The Most Epic Wedding Proposals In Nigeria 3. Time is not on your side Often times, there is too much pressure on women from friends and, especially, parents to settle down. Your parents keep asking you when you will be married and all the ladies you know are already in their marital homes. So if you have already found a guy you love, why not to give him an engagement ring? If he does not do it first, of course. READ ALSO: Woman Marries Herself As She Is Tired Of Being Single 4. You don’t want to wait for too long Some time ago, Nigerian guys used to get married approximately at the age of 25. Now they prefer to wait till 30 or even 35. They want to buy a car, get a bigger house and so on. If this happens, you will be forced to wait a while for him to accomplish all of his goals. So if you two are in love – just propose to him. And don’t forget to cook something tasty!

Delta LP Chairman Accuses Edwin Clark Of Pocketing Millions From Ogboru

Tony Ezeagwu, the chairman of the defunct Democratic People’s Party (DPP) and now a top official of the Labor Party (LP) in Delta State chapter, has accused former Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, a former federal commissioner of Information and an Ijaw leader, of accepting an inducement of N14.5 million from Great Ovedje Ogboru, the DPP’s governorship candidate in 2007 and 2011, promising to woo Ijaw voters for Mr. Ogboru in 2011. Edwin Clark Mr. Ezeagwu made the allegation last week in Asaba, the state capital, as he refuted media reports in which Mr. Clark reportedly claimed that he raised N42 million for Mr. Ogboru’s governorship campaign in 2011. The LP officially insisted that Mr. Ogboru sent N14.5 million to Mr. Clark through former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe. He added that the Ijaw political figure could not deny receiving Mr. Ogboru’s cash. “Ogboru gave E.K Clark N14.5 million through Orubebe that cannot be denied from any source. That money was given to him to enable him [to] deliver Ogboru in the Ijaw area. He requested for it and it was in turn given to him. But the promise to deliver Ogboru in those areas was not fulfilled. I don’t know why people will just want to make cheap popularity by trying to blackmail people,” said Mr. Ezeagwu. He said Mr. Clark “was on oath” in Mr. Ogboru’s election petition against Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, but turned around to ask some of the petitioners to embrace Mr. Uduaghan. Mr. Ezeagwu, who is currently the state chairman of the Labor Party, said he was aware of N42 million was raised and given to a group called DCC, an appendage of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), headed by Mr. Clark. However, he stated emphatically that the money was not at any time given to Mr. Ogboru as Mr. Clark alleged. Said Mr. Ezeagwu, “There was a group called DCC, which E.K Clark and his group were using at that time. They came and said they wanted to support us. This money [Edwin Clark] is talking about, Ogboru never touched that money. Neither did I touch it or see it. DCC members shared this money among themselves, [saying] they were going to work for DPP. Ogboru never made away with their money. It was brought and shared among their group and they also wanted to hijack our structure at that time. “It’s good to put the record straight. We didn’t know whether they used the money for us or not, but they said they were going to work for us. If not for the fact that we are magnanimous, would we even say that the money was used for us when it was not given to us?” The LP official said it was unfortunate that a man like Mr. Clark would “wake up and begin to make this kind of insinuation to tarnish a young man’s image.” Two weeks ago, Mr. Clark had alleged that he raised N42 million and gave to Mr. Ogboru for the 2011 governorship election in Delta State, adding that the then DPP candidate ran away with the money. Nigeria Talks Tough, Warns South Africa Over Seized $5.7 Million Arms Money

In a terse reaction to what appears a potential diplomatic spat between the two countries, the Nigerian government denied the second transaction was illegal and reminded South Africa of how Nigeria has provided a beneficial environment for South African companies like MTN, DSTV and a host of others to do business unhindered. “It is our hope that South Africa would reciprocate this noble gesture,” the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, said Monday, with a vow to eradicate Boko Haram regardless of the antics of “fifth columnists”. by Premium TimesOct 07, 2014 Nigeria responded with fury Monday after South African authorities confiscated a second tranche of funds meant for arms purchase to fight the extremist Boko Haram sect, denying the deal was unlawful and warning South Africa of its investment in Nigeria. The warning came after the South African government seized US$5.7 million wired by the Nigerian government through a bank to an arms dealer in that country.

7 Signs He’s Only After Sex

Men are wonderful creatures that we can’t do without (There’s no point arguing about that). We need their strength, support, care and love. At times some of us confuse a man’s constant invitation to his house and compliments for love while others are just blinded by the idea of finding Mr Right that when they meet a guy with 90 percent of the “criteria” they become satisfied and down for whatever. If you and your guy have decided to be friends with benefits with no strings attached then this really isn’t for you but if you’re in a committed relationship or you just met this guy and all he wants is sex or you’re not even sure about where you stand, then you should read this. He never lets you check his phone He tends to be a bit secretive like he’s hiding something. If a man has nothing to hide he’ll be totally free around you and not be bothered if you find anything or not. He tries to distract you when you reach for his phone or begins to kiss you. These are signs that he has a gf and you’re the side chick or he just doesn’t want you snooping around. He only chats you up when he’s horny If he doesn’t call you the whole day or for days then its a sign that he’s not into you. When he eventually calls, he says “Sorry I haven’t called but I miss you and wish you were here” *rolls eyes* you know what he wants. He doesn’t talk much about himself When you ask about his family or work, he doesn’t say much or nothing at all. He never wants to be as open as you are willing to be or talk about his emotions but will rather talk about how sexy you look and how he wants to try out new things in bed. If a man is in love with you, he’ll be willing to share his likes, fears and tell you about his family. He doesn’t ask about work, friends and family This is also a major sign! He doesn’t show concern for your work or friends, he only wants you to himself (when he wants you). You always find yourself telling him about work, family or your adventures with friends instead of he asking you. If he really cares about you then he should be interested in knowing everything and anything concerning you, call you often and make you feel loved not lust after. He doesn’t introduce you to his friends/family If you haven’t met his friends or his family then he doesn’t find you worthy enough. If you think you’re in a serious relationship and he hasn’t invited you to hangout with his buddies then have a re-think. Whenever you ask about his family and you express hopes of meeting them, he tells you its unnecessary and turns you down. He doesn’t want to be seen in public with you Now this just gives the cat out of the bag. There’s nothing as romantic as a public display of affection. When you talk about going to the movies, he brings up some excuse about work or tells you how much he hates the cinema and prefers to cuddle up with you. He never wants to do anything fun with you or be seen in public with you instead he invites you to a date at his “house”. That’s not a date but a trick! Click to Tweet: A man in love is never shy about his feelings.>http://zegist.com/ 7-signs- hes-after-sex / He’s not very affectionate with you If he’s not sweet, kind, fond, loving, caring, warm-hearted, devoted, supportive, tender with you and he constantly makes everything sexual, what other signs do you need? Its time to call it quits and find a serious gentleman for yourself.

10 Obvious Signs That Your Lover Is Lying To You

Being in a relationship means putting a whole lot of faith in someone who was, at one point, a total stranger to you. It’s all a bit terrifying when you really think about it. So can you ever really tell what someone’s thinking and feeling, or if they’re being truly honest with you? So can you ever really tell what someone’s thinking and feeling, or if they’re being truly honest with you? Basically, no. But there are some clues in someone’s behaviour as to how they really feel and whether they’re lying or not. Here’s what to look out for… SEE ALSO: 8 Ways To Prevent Him From Cheating 1.If your other half is suddenly spoutingreligious phraseslike ‘I swear to Jesus’ or ‘God no’, then they may be trying to hard to cover something up. 2. Watch their hands. Are they trying to make them disappear, possibly into their pockets, behind their backs or under their legs? If yes, this could be a sign that they’re hiding more than just their palms. 3.A common misconception about cheats and liars is that they can’t provide detail about their lie, but actually, they maygo into too much detail. If they can’t stop talking and appear to be saying things as they occur to them, it might be that it’s all fabricated. 4.You know your partner best. Are they finding it more difficult than usualto maintain eye contact? Then they could be feeling guilty. And if they’ve fixed an unusually strong stare on your eyes, they could be doing so in an effort to try to control your opinion of them. 5.If there arenoticeable pauses before they answer questions, they could be buying themselves time to think of a response. Equally, answering too soon and speaking quickly is an indication that they’re desperately trying to convince you of something. 6.If theyrepeat more than one of your questions, they’re probably using the time to think of a reasonable answer. 7.Are theysuddenly being super honestbut about something that you’re not actually asking them about? For example, you question who they had dinner with this evening and they’re more concerned with apologising for how much they spent on the dinner than discussing who they ate with. They’re trying to deflect attention by admitting to a lesser offence. 8.Any attemptto cover their mouth– however apparently subconscious – could well be a sign that they’re uncomfortable with what they’re saying or hiding something from you. 9.Very strange but true: when lying, some people’s nasal tissues engorge, causing theirnoses to itch. So an unexplained sniff could give away more than you think… 10.And finally… take a step back andtry to look at it objectively: ask yourself whether you’d believe their story if it was one of your friends’ partners. If it now sounds implausible, then it probably is.

Journalist Close To Boko Haram Says Abubakar Shekau “Alive And Well”

A confidential debriefing document by the Nigerian army obtained last week by SaharaReporters also acknowledged that Mr. Shekau stayed permanently in his holdout in Sambisa Forest and was not in the habit of venturing out to battles. Item “R” of the document stated, ”Shekau has his wife and 2 children in Sambisa Forest. He is Kanuri, he speaks Hausa and he does not travel.” Meanwhile, a Nigerian security source told SaharaReporters that there was evidence of a growing frustration among insurgent fighters and a simmering power struggle between some of the sect’s top figures. He disclosed that some of the insurgents who surrendered to Nigerian troops last week in Konduga have told army interrogators that they decided to give up after their commander executed two of their leaders who led the failed attack on Konduga. The source told SaharaReporters that the insurgents,

Lagos State Government May Prosecute T.B Joshua

It looks like Synagogue leader T.B Joshua will be prosecuted by the Lagos State Government over the collapse of his building on September 12th that left more than 115 people dead. According to Punch, the state government has set up a coroner of inquest for the purpose of investigating the cause of the building collapse. This was made known in a statement credited to the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ade Ipaye, on Sunday. According to the statement, Ipaye had instigated the coroner’s inquest pursuant to Section 15 of the Lagos State Coroner’s System Law No. 7 of 2007. The coroner of inquest, headed by Magistrate O. A. Komolafe, has been charged with the duty of establishing the cause of the collapse of Synagogue’s six-storey building that killed no fewer than 115 persons. Ipaye, who spelt out the responsibility of the coroner, said its final submission might necessitate the institution of a criminal charge against the church. The commissioner was quoted to have said, “The law requires the verdict of a coroner, as certified in writing, to be forwarded to the State Attorney General and such verdict may form the basis of criminal prosecution depending on the evidence collected. “The coroner in this case is Magistrate O. A. Komolafe, who also sat as coroner in the Dana Air Crash case. He is expected to announce his sitting or visitation schedules and other details and to hold the inquest at the premises of the High Court of Lagos State, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja. “In doing this, he (Komolafe) has all the powers of a magistrate to summon and compel the attendance of witnesses, including medical examiners, and require them to give evidence, produce documents or present other relevant materials.”

Prophet TB Joshua Denied Visa & Banned From South Africa & Zimbabwe!

According to reliable sources, South Africans are passionate about the Synagogue Church, always coming there on pilgrimage. There is a tour package which cost an average of 10,000 Rands each for one week. The collapsed building was meant for Southern African groups like worshipers from Namibia, Lesotho, Mozambique, Botswana and the Republic of South Africa. Worshipers from Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan also use the collapsed building but investigation revealed that South Africans were more because Pastor Joshua decided to give more opportunities for the South Africans who have remained insistent and shown solidarity to SCOAN. No fewer than 84 South Africans were killed in the tragedy. Healing of sicknesses and diseases also bring nationals from other countries to Synagogue – all for miracles. Holy water, otherwise called anointing water, is sold to pilgrims between N5000 and N10,000 per bottle. Even thousands of anointing water bottles are exported to some West African countries. Worshipers from foreign nations are encouraged to stay until after seven days. They are always screened and registered by the church authorities. Those with financial problems believe that use of the anointing oil restore their finances. Meanwhile, it was gathered that the ruling African National Congress, ANC, Youth Wing had warned Pastor T.B. Joshua not to come to South Africa. He should not enter the country until they know what happened to their compatriots in Nigeria. According to Bandile Masuku of ANC Youth League, “we will make sure that Pastor T.B. Joshua is not issued with a South African visa.” The influx of foreign nationals into the church could be explained by the adage that a Prophet is not acknowledged or recognised in his own country. But with this tragedy, many people are becoming scared of the Synagogue church and more knowledgeable about what goes on there. Strangely, however, several South Africans, we reliably learnt, are still anxious to return to Nigeria to patronize the church because of their believed spiritual prowess of Pastor T.B. Joshua. He is feared and highly respected by politicians, including prime ministers, presidents and ministers. Even sports men come to the Synagogue not only for healing when injured but also for for success in their outings. Prominent athletes and footballers have gone there to seek one form of help or another. May the souls of those who perished rest in perfect peace and may God give the living a discerning spirit. “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” – 1 John 4:1. How Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau was killed – Investigations

KINGSLEY OMONOBI-ABUJA. Details of how Abubakar Shekau, the impostor and leader of the Boko Haram terrorist group lost his left in a shootout with Nigerian troops in Konduga on Wednesday Sept. 17 emerged yesterday with military sources disclosing that he met his waterloo in an ambush reminiscent of the type the sect had been using to hack down Nigerian troops. Vanguard gathered that when the first attack on Konduga whereby hundreds of insurgents were taken unawares and killed after over seven hours of fighting and several of their colleagues, arms and ammunition captured, the military commanders strategically urged his captured members to send a message to Shekau that they (insurgents) have routed the troops. Before the captured insurgents were urged to make the contact and deliver the message, the military commanders had promised them that their cooperation would play a role in the level of punishment to be meted to them after the battle hence they felt reassured. Also, the captured insurgents had disclosed that Shekau usually moved in a convoy of cars painted in military colours while he sits in a MOWAG Armoured tank with Boko Haram inscription on its front. When Shekau was contacted, his captured men spoke to him in Arabic, assuring him that they had taken over Konduga, thereby giving him the all clear to proceed from Sambisa Forest. To convince him further, a set of his men captured were told to sing the victory song in Kanuri language they normally sing at the background. Having convinced himself that the messenger was his chief courier in such situation and the message is authentic, he and his followers made for Konduga, heavily armed with Anti-Aircraft weapons, General Purpose Machine Guns, several AK 47 rifles and other IEDS’. However, on entering Konduga town, he and his followers were encircled by strategically placed and heavily armed Nigerian soldiers. Immediately he contacted the messenger and discovered that something was amiss, he ordered his followers to start shooting in all direction.

I will crush Boko Haram —Jonathan

*Why the North must back Mr President’s re-election – Anenih SIMON EBEGBULEM, BENIN CITY PRESIDENT Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, yesterday, at the South-south Unity Party of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), held in Benin-City, vowed that his administration will crush Boko Haram exactly the way it fought Ebola virus disease. The President also boasted that the PDP will recapture Rivers and Edo states in 2015 and 2016, insisting that the entire South-south must return to the PDP as it were in 1999. This comes as South-south PDP leaders and governors, through the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih, urged the North to back Jonathan’s re-election bid, asserting that the people of the zone were determined to ensure his re-election. According to Anenih, the North must reciprocate the gesture of the South-south in the political empowerment of the North in the past. Jonathan, who arrived the Benin Airport at about 1pm, was welcomed by Governor Adams Oshiomhole and members of the Edo State Executive Council. He proceeded with the governor to the commissioning of the reconstructed Benin-Ore-Lagos dual carriage road before storming the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium for the PDP rally. From left: President Goodluck Jonathan, APC Presidential aspirant and Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Chief Mike Onolemenmen, Minister of Works on arrival of the President at the Benin Airport for a party rally, Saturday Dignitaries at the rally include the Vice President, Arch.Namadi Sambo, Senate President, David Mark, National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Muazu, Governors Liyel Imoke (Cross Rivers), Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Seriaki Dickson (Bayelsa), Theodore Orji (Abia) and the deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State. Others are former governors of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion and Prof.Osariemen Osunbor; a former governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alameiseigha; Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion; Senator Roland Owie; Chief Dan Orbih (Edo PDP Chairman); Captain Hosa Okunbor; Ken Imasuagbon; Gen.Charles Airhiavbere; Senator Ehigie Uzamere; Chief Tom Ikimi; and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. Addressing the rally, Jonathan declared that his administration had made giant strides in infrastructural development despite criticisms from the opposition, just as he urged PDP members to ensure unity to be able to win the forthcoming general elections. His words, “Before coming to this stadium, we commissioned the Benin-Ore-Shagamu dual carriage road. The governor (Oshiomhole), though he is not a PDP member appreciates that work. And we promise Nigerians that we will improve on infrastructures. And if you observe carefully, those who travel, you will know that the PDP administration has improved the quality of our roads. “We cannot do all our roads the same day, but, within this short time we have been in power, we have reconstructed the roads, we have also fixed the airports. So when we talk about infrastructure, PDP is not only talking about feeding people. There was somebody who said PDP believes in stomach infrastructure. Yes because PDP must ensure food security. Every President in this world talks about food security and job creation. “ And we have been commended for reducing hunger, our detractors don’t even want Nigerians to know that we are working, but those who monitor what is happening in the world know that we are working. Recently, we were recognized for fighting Ebola disease. So I promise you that there must be food security and anybody who says that we should not talk about food security is not ready to lead the people. “You are all aware that we have conquered Ebola and we will surely crush Boko Haram. And if you look at what is happening, a lot of things are changing. Everything is turning around”. ‘ We will get all our states back’ Admonishing PDP members to be united ahead of the 2015 general elections, the President said: “Let me appreciate the leadership of the party for their commitment and members of our party from the non-PDP states because we know the things they pass through. We are here in Edo for a unity rally, we are not here for campaign, we are here for a unity rally because we must bring our party members together especially now that elections are coming.

Boko Haram fighters 'surrender' as alleged chief killed

More than 260 Islamist militants have surrendered in north-eastern Nigeria, the military has said. Soldiers had also killed a man who featured in Boko Haram's propaganda videos pretending to be the group's leader Abubakar Shekau, it added. Last year, the military said that Shekau may have been killed, without providing any proof. Boko Haram has suffered heavy losses in recent weeks in battles in its stronghold of north-eastern Nigeria. The military said that 135 Boko Haram members surrendered with their weapons in Biu, Borno state, on Tuesday - and that 133 others surrendered elsewhere in north-eastern Nigeria. 'Eccentric character' The BBC's Will Ross in Lagos says that the claims are impossible to verify. However, if they are true, it could be a major turning point for the army's campaign against Boko Haram militants, our correspondent adds.

TB Joshua Church Collapse: South Africans Make Moves To Sue

Two South Africans who lost their relatives in a church hostel in Lagos that collapsed have come out to tell BBC that they intend to sue the Nigerian Pastor — TB Joshua. The two men, who both lost sisters in the collapse, are appealing for more families to come together in bringing a case against the preacher. At least 115 people, including 84 South Africans, died when the multi-storey building fell down earlier this month. The authorities say it had more floors than its foundation could hold. On Sunday, TB Joshua, who is one of Nigeria’s best-known evangelists and is popular across Africa, announced plans to travel to South Africa to visit the families of the deceased. Officials suspect the foundations were not suitable for extra floors to be added to the building Emergency workers allege they were prevented from participating in the rescue, only gaining full access to the site on Sunday afternoon – accusations denied by Pastor Joshua’s Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN). One of the South African men said:“I understand that some families are afraid to take on someone who purports to be God’s messenger and I don’t blame them but I will do this” Thanduxolo Doro and Mpho Molebatsi waited at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo airport for days after the collapse for news of their sisters, who had been visiting SCOAN. Both families had last heard from their relatives hours before the collapse, which happened at about 13:50 local time (12.50 GMT) on Friday 12 September. “It is not that the building collapsed, rather what was done after the collapse – we didn’t get any news from the church,”Mr Doro, whose sister Vathiswa Madikiza died, told the BBC. “When I contacted them they wouldn’t tell me anything. We saw reports that emergency workers were denied access initially, access that could have saved lives. The actions of the church after the incident are very telling,”he said Posted by Haliwudon September 26, 2014. Tags: Haliwud, tb joshua Categories: World news

Panic As Two Ebola Victims ‘Resurrect’ During Burial Procession

Panic has taken over a community in Liberia when two Ebola victims suddenly rose back to death. Panic is spreading in an African village that Ebola patients are rising from the dead. This is a file picture of an Ebola victim The villagers who believed two female victims of the killer disease have been resurrected and are now walking among the living were shocked at the incident when it happened. Mirror reports that the victims, who are both females in their 40s and 60s, died of the deadly virus in separate communities in Nimba County, Liberia. READ ALSO: EBOLA: Heartbreaking Photos From Liberia But the pair were said to have risen from their deaths and are now walking among the living, causing panic and fear among locals. The two victims late Dorris Quoi of Hope Village Community and Ma Kebeh, in her late 60s, were about to be taken for burial when they resurrected from the dead, according to the New Dawn Nimba County, a local newspaper. Ma Kebeh was reported to be indoors for two nights without food and medication before her alleged death. However, it would be worthy to note that Nimba County has recently reported unusual news of Ebola cases, including one about a native doctor from the county, who claimed that he could cure infected victims, dying of the virus himself last week. The local tabloid however made it known that since the Ebola outbreak in Nimba County, this is the first incident of dead victims resurrecting. The Ebola outbreak has already killed around 2,800 people in five West African countries this year while an estimated 5,800 people have been infected with the virus, which has no known cure. America’s respected Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has predicted there could be up to 1.4million cases of deadly Ebola by the end of January. The CDC, which successfully treated two US doctors infected with the disease, released the worrying report based on assumptions that cases have been dramatically under reported. The Centre’s scientists believe there may be as many as 21,000 reported and unreported cases in just Liberia and Sierra Leone alone by the end of this month. The World Health Organisation has already warned the number of people infected with the Ebola could reach 20,000 by the beginning of November if steps to contain the outbreak are not accelerated.
